Judge @Ground Conference #6 in Aachen

Another Ground Conference took place on 16.06.2018 and i was invited again for judging the 1vs1 Breaking, 1vs1 HipHop and Experimental Allstyle Team Battle! It was great to see the dancers taking risks and dancing free in the Experimental Battle, congratulations to the winning team from Belgium! Each team had to master tasks regarding different music, togetherness/communication with the partner, creativity with an object and more! I had fun and i want to thank ARTbewegt e.V. for the great organisation, and the other Judges Rawmantic/Keraamika and Thimoty for the nice exchange.

If you are a dancer seeking for challenges, make sure you come to the next Ground Conference! 

Workshop at the University of Münster

This friday i will be teaching a workshop on Breaking at the University of Münster.
I am very happy about the rising interest of German Universities on urban/street dances! Until today, you can only study street dances within the curricula at the German Sport University Cologne. Therefore it is great that the University of Münster decided to offer a street dance workshop as well, within the studies of Music Pedagogy.

Interview mit Tanzweb NRW zum "cypher"

Im Rahmen des Schrittmacher Festivals_Generation 2 war auch Tanzweb unterwegs und hat Choreographen, Tänzer und Dozenten interviewt.
Auch der "cypher" Workshop hatte Interesse geweckt - Lisa Freudenthal interviewte mich zum Thema "cypher", urbanen Tanz und mehr...das Interview gibt außerdem einen Einblick in meine Forschung für meine Doktorarbeit, die ich am Institut für Tanz und Bewegungskultur an der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln schreibe :) Viel Spaß!
